Soo I know this is a Winter-y outfit; I wore it the first day of classes Spring semester (mid-January). Regardless, it was still one of my favorites and it really reflects my personal style so I want to share it with you. My fair isle/tribal knit sweater is from American Eagle Outfitters. The plain camisole (crew neck) is from Forever 21 && is definitely one of the best purchases I have ever made (seriously, I wear one everyday). The high-rise shorts are a tweed blend mostly brown and taupe, with a little navy blue mixed in,and they are the California Selects brand from American Apparel. The lace tights are from Target.
*Not pictured: I am also wearing black Vans, high tops with a black sole. I love how streamlined they make outfits look.

I wore this look to my family’s Mother’s Day picnic this past Sunday. The neon pink cropped top (which is difficult to see) has a scoop neck, and it is from Forever 21. The overall shorties are from Free People; they have some paint splatters and painted flowers on them. I left my hair natural with a classic middle part.
*Not pictured* I also wore a pair of suede Vans in a tan color; they are low-tops.
I wore this look to a club with my girl friends one Friday night, about 6 weeks ago. The leatherette peplum top is black and it is from Forever 21. It is not something that is typically my style, but I am a sucker for leather/leatherette and I wanted to try a fit I never usually wear. The shorts are Levi 501’s, they were my mom’s in the 80’s and 90’s. I’ve worn them to absolute death. The tights are typical, sheer black stockings from American Apparel that have ripped on their own. During the Fall and Winter, I wear them at least twice a week, so they experience a lot of wear-and-tear. The wedges are kind of hard to see, but they are cheetah-print and they are from Forever 21. I am so in love with them and I will take absolutely any excuse to wear them.
I braided my hair after I got out of the shower and let it air dry to create the wavy look. I used a bobby pin to pin it back on one side. I did the ombré on my own with the help of L’Oreal Paris Feria Wild Ombré, which is available at drugstores. Lastly, my lipstick is the color Geradium by Lime Crime Make-up.
